June & July Sessions Only

On-campus Housing & Meals

$62 Student/Guest Housing & Dining Fee (Per Person)

The housing fee includes: one night lodging for Thursday night, bed and bath linen, lunch and dinner on Thursday, and breakfast and BBQ lunch on Friday. Students are strongly encouraged to stay in the residence halls during their HOP session. Students and families/guests are NOT placed in the same residence halls and all residence halls have shared bathrooms (see “Logistics” page 8 of the HOP Brochure).

Additional Nights On-Campus for Freshmen & Guests

You may arrive early (Wed. night) or stay late (Fri. night) during the June and July sessions at a cost of $25/night per person. This rate is for housing only. You are welcome to purchase meals at the cafeteria. Early arrivals for the June and July sessions may check in after 3 pm on Wednesday. Those who choose to stay Friday night must check out by 11 am on Saturday. Please note additional nights on your HOP Reservation form. Reservations for additional nights must be received by June 12th for the first June session, June 19th for the second June session, July 3rd for the first July session and by July 10th for the second July session OR we cannot guarantee you a space on campus.

July Session

On-campus Housing

$25 Student Housing Fee (Per Person)

The housing fee includes: one night lodging on Tuesday night with bed and bath linen. You must check out by 11 am Wednesday. Meals may be purchased at the cafeteria (lunch on Tuesday will be provided at the orientation session). Students are strongly encouraged to stay in the residence halls during their HOP session. Students and families/guests are NOT placed in the same residence halls and all residence halls have shared bathrooms (see “Logistics” page 8 of the HOP Brochure).

Early arrivals may check in after 3 pm on Monday. Please note the additional night on your HOP Reservation form. Reservations for Monday night must be received by July 8th for the July session OR we cannot guarantee you a space on campus.

August Session for Freshmen & Transfers

On-campus Housing

Students living on campus for the 2008-2009 academic year and attending the August HOP session may move into their rooms beginning Tuesday, August 19th. On-campus housing is NOT available during the August session to students living off-campus during the 2008-2009 academic year or their guests, since students will be moving into their permanent rooms.

Housing Fee Refund Policy

For those planning to stay in the residence halls during the June or July orientation session, there is a $50 residence hall fee for cancellations, transfers or changes per person after June 12th for the first session, after June 19th for the second session, after July 3rd for the third session or after July 10th for the fourth session. If you are attending the July transfer session the cancellation fee applies after July 8th. To make changes to your housing reservation please call (707) 826-3510.

Meals

For those staying off-campus during a session, individual meals may be purchased at the door of the “J” (our dining facility on the 3rd floor of the Jolly Giant Commons building). Meal prices range between approximately $6.50 for breakfast up to $11.00 for dinner.

Logistics

Children 3 and under are free in Housing & Dining. Families/Guests are housed in single rooms if coming alone, double if with coming with someone else. Students are generally housed in double rooms with a roommate that is also going through orientation.
