Attention HSU Jack Pass Users

BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2009, if your HSU ID card cannot be successfully swiped through the fare box, a cash fare will be required to ride. Jack Pass stickers and Registration stickers will not be accepted for free ridership after January 1st.

If ridership is denied due to not qualifying for the Jack Pass service, contact Student Financial Services, SBS suite 285, to determine eligibility.

Replacement ID cards may be purchased at the Student Financial Services, SBS room 285.

About Us

Parking & Commuter Services at Humboldt State University is comprised of employees and students who share an interest in managing parking and transportation on campus. Our customers- students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University, are the reason for our existence. We are responsive to their needs and involve them in our actions. Our transportation demand management objective is to develop and maintain commuter programs, promoting transportation alternatives, mitigate traffic congestion and reducing parking demand on campus. A key measure of our success is customer satisfaction.

Our goal is to develop and improve the management of parking and transportation by:

• Improving accessibility and mobility throughout a changing and complex University environment,
• Enhancing interaction with the campus community and with governmental agencies, and
• Utilizing ecologically sound principles in meeting transportation demands.

As managers of the environment and our state's resources, we recognize that our facilities and services affect the natural surroundings. As such, we will conserve and protect these resources through responsible management, sound technical judgement, conscientious work methods and individual effort.
