There are bats present on campus that can carry the rabies virus.

DO NOT HANDLE WILDLIFE

Things to remember:

Never handle wild animals.
Wash any wound from an animal thoroughly and immediately seek medical attention.
If you encounter a dead, sick or strange acting wild animal, contact the University Police immediately at 826-5555.

Two 19-year-old male HSU students were physically attacked by the occupants of a dark-colored BMW sedan that was driving through HSU Housing areas. The assault took place on Granite Avenue at the north side of the Jolly Giant Commons building, shortly after one of the HSU students yelled at the driver of the BMW, who was apparently speeding on Granite Avenue, to slow down . . .
