Cocktail Coaster Contest

Compete against other HSU artists, graphic designers and interested students in a contest to see who can create the best 4"x4" cocktail coaster design. Themes, pictures, drawings, graphics, etc. must focus on preventing risky drinking. Educational information from reliable sources such as Randy Haveson's "Know the Code" are acceptable.

Winners will be selected at the SAAC Spring Ball on April 15th at the Arcata Masonic Lodge. 1st place will receive $300 and 10,000 coasters will be commercially reproduced and distributed at restaurant and bar establishments in downtown Arcata during the month of May 2006. 2nd place will receive $200 and 3rd place will receive $100.

Entries must be on a CD using Illustrator or Photoshop (four color process.) Place your CD and a color print of your design, enlarged to 8"x8", in an envelope with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Label the envelope "Coaster Contest" and drop it off at the HSU Health Center front desk or the University Police Department front desk no later than April 14th 2006*.
