Sexual Assault Reported In Arcata, Redwood Park

The Arcata Police Department received a report that at approximately 2:00 PM on Friday 10/06/06, a woman was threatened with a weapon and forced into the bathroom at Redwood Park where the assault took place. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, late 20s, 5'8", thin build, wearing a white baseball cap with a black bill, a white football jersey with the number 13 on it and blue jeans. Anyone who might have seen the suspect, or who has other information that might help investigators, is encouraged to call the Arcata Police Department at 822-2426 or UPD at 826-5555.
