Sexual Assault Reported At Pedestrian Underpass

On Monday 10/23/06 at approximately 8:30 p.m., a man was followed onto the HSU campus from downtown Arcata by an unknown male suspect. When they reached the pedestrian underpass at LK Wood Blvd, the suspect grasped and groped the man. The man broke away from the suspect and escaped further harm. The suspect in this case has been described as an Hispanic male adult speaking broken English, about 28 years old, 5'6" tall, slender build, dark brown or black hair that is short and "spiky", wearing a brown button up shirt, blue jeans and casual work boots.
