Crime Alert:

Sexual Battery

  • Crime(s): PC 234.4(e)(1) – Misdemeanor Sexual Battery
  • Case #: 09-0013
  • Date: Monday, 01/12/2009, between 8:30pm and 9:00 pm
  • Location: LK Wood Blvd and Granite Ave
  • Suspect: White, male, 30-35 years old, approximately 5’06”, muscular build, short blonde hair. Last seen wearing blue jeans and white t-shirt.
  • Vehicle: Red 4-door coupe, unknown make or model

On the above date and time, a lone female student was walking north on LK Wood Blvd between Sunset and Granite Avenues. The unidentified suspect drove past the female, honking and waving. The suspect pulled over and contacted the female, engaging in conversation and trying to coax her into entering his car. The student declined. Prior to leaving, the suspect reportedly committed the sexual battery by squeezing the student through her clothing for an instant, before releasing her.
