Information For Community Partners

The HSU Service Learning Center is here to encourage co-educational opportunities: situations that involve faculty partners and community partners working together to foster the development of civically engaged citizens.

One of the Service Learning Center's goals is to facilitate creative dialogues between faculty partners and community partners. Photo by Kyana Taillon.

Opportunities

As a community partner, one of the best ways to initiate a new campus-community connection is by attending one of our Agency / Volunteer Fairs. These interactive events, hosted on the HSU campus. generally take place twice a year: during the second week of September, and during the second week of February. The Agency / Volunteer Fair is a great venue for meeting HSU students and faculty who are interested in community service. To place your organization's name on the invitation list for an upcoming Volunteer Fair, simply fill out the form below.

There is also space on the form to make requests, ask questions, and provide suggestions. Ultimately, to honor the principle of co-education, we need to hear from you, the community partner. We would like to know the opportunities you see for integrating service and learning in your organization.
