Help Celebrate 40 Years of Supporting Students in Providing Volunteer Programs
We have planned a fun and engaging day of visiting, community service, reminiscing and celebrating 40 years. We warmly invite all of you to stop by for an hour or spend the entire day with us. Your family is of course welcome and our programs have some fun sessions planned for children. Please take a look at the details of the day and pre-register, so that we can be prepared to make this a fantastic day.
If you can't join us on the 26th, we would still like to hear from you. Please take a few moments to let us know what you are doing now, your best memories of Y.E.S. and/or the impact of your experience with YE.S. on your life after college. This way you can be there in spirit as we share your stories on our day of celebration.

A Sketch of the YES House
40 years ago Youth Educational Services began the tradition of volunteer service by HSU students to the local community. The organization's name reflected not only its early focus, addressing unmet needs of the youth of Manila, but also the concept of pairing the education of college students with meaningful and valuable service to community groups.
Y.E.S. has nurtured over 70 programs since its inception. Several, like Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT) & Campus Recycling Program (CRP), have branched out on their own; others have had a shorter but still notable tenure, while still others like the very first program, Tutorial, continue to make a strong impact on the lives of those they serve. We can all be proud of the part we have played in this evolution. Please join us in the celebration of these past 40 years.
Youth Educational Services has not only made a significant contribution to the local communities but has also enriched the lives of those who chose to become a part of this special organization.
Our 40th anniversary t-shirt commemorates these programs by listing them on the back of the shirt.
