Youth Mentoring ProgramProgram Directors & Office HoursCrystal Torres: MW 9-11 Volunteer Weekly MeetingsT 7-8pm Upstairs Y.E.S. Program MissionYouth Mentoring Program strives to positively connect with at risk children and provide a mentoring relationship that serves as a role model & offers friendship, support, and an ally. Service, Goals & ProjectsHSU volunteers meet their mentees for several hours each week and spend time that is both engaging and entertaining. The pair may take in a movie, get something to eat, play sports, games, work on a project, or just talk. Upcoming Events or Activities![]() Mentees play a game to arrange themselves by age Group activities are also planned including an overnight outing in February, a rock climb lead by LEAP volunteers in March, a car wash fundraiser in April, and possibly bowling on another occasion. ![]() EE volunteers lead the group Community ContactsChildren served by the program have been referred by several sources. Current community contacts identify potential mentees at three local schools.
